Olympic Games Paris 2024
France will host the Olympic Games from 26 July to 11 August and the Paralympic Games from 28 August to 8 September 2024.
To prepare for your visit in the best possible conditions, you may need to obtain a visa to enter France. Given the expected volume of applications, we advise you to start your application as early as possible, anticipating the time needed to obtain an appointment and process your application in relation to the planned start date of your trip (up to 6 months in advance).
You can apply for a short-stay tourist/private visit visa (uniform Schengen or national visa, depending on your destination in European or non-European France). The visa assistant will tell you what supporting documents you need to provide, depending on your country of residence or nationality.
Whether or not you require a visa, third-country nationals entering the Schengen area must comply with conditions laid down in current European and national regulations.
