It is mandatory to make an appointment on VFS Global. It includes a pre-payment of a service fee.
Visa applications submitted in Ghana are then examined by the visa section of the French Embassy in Accra. Only the Embassy is authorised to take decisions about visas. - For short-stay visa applications, please submit your application at least 15 days before your planned departure date,
- For long-stay visa applications, please allow at least 1 month between submitting your application and your planned departure date.
