Apply for a visa for France in Guyana

The French Embassy in Paramaribo Suriname processes all visas applications for people residing in Guyana wishing to visit France.

To complete your online application you must select Suriname as your country of submission of application.

As of Monday October 21, it is now possible to apply for Schengen visas in Guyana (if the main destination is France). The applications are received two days a month. The next session is scheduled for, June Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17, Thursday 18.

For this purpose, visa applicants :

  • must complete their applications online at France-Visas on the Suriname page ;
  • make an appointment online ; appointment times are those of Guyana
  • go to the following address : Lama Avenue 25, Bel Air Park Georgetown, GPS coordinates : (6.8076951, -58.1407901), Georgetown, Guyana, in order to submit their applications.

Applications must include: completed and signed France-Visas application form, receipt of application, passport, photo (ICAO standards), supporting documents (the list is provided on France-Visas receipt), the application fee indicated on France-Visas in Guyanese dollars and in cash (exact amount), and a pre-stamped FeDex envelope for the passports return from Suriname to the applicant's address. Please note: processing takes approximatly three weeks.
