Applying for a Visa for France in Cambodia
Visa applications submitted in Cambodia are processed by the Visa Section of the French Embassy in Cambodia, which is solely authorized to make decisions regarding visas.
Cambodian nationals are required to obtain a visa to enter France, regardless of the duration of their stay or the type of travel document they hold, unless they possess a valid residence permit allowing them to reside in France or in another Schengen Area country.
- For short-stay visa applications, you are advised to submit your application at least 15 days before your planned departure date, and up to 6 months in advance.
- For long-stay visa applications, please allow at least 21 days between the submission of your application and your planned departure date, and up to 3 months in advance.
Whom should I contact ?
Visa applicants residing in Cambodia are received, by appointment, by the company TLS Contact, which handles the reception of applications. The French Embassy remains solely responsible for examining applications and deciding whether to issue or refuse the requested visa.
All visa applications must first be completed online via the France-Visas portal (application form and supporting documents checklist). On the day of the appointment, applicants must present the printed form generated from France-Visas, including the barcode at the bottom of page 1; otherwise, the application will not be accepted..
Since 13 December 2023, visa applications must be submitted at the TLS Contact center in Phnom Penh, which is responsible for welcoming applicants, providing information, scheduling appointments, receiving applications, and collecting application fees. Passports are also returned via the TLS Contact center.
Exceptions are specified in particular cases.
