Digitization

The France-Visas application offers students the option of submitting digital copies of all the supporting documents they require as soon as they enter their visa application online. This approach, which should be encouraged, will speed up the process of going to the external service provider, if one is present in your country of residence, with access to a dedicated counter. Initially, this feature will only be available to applicants for long-stay student visas residing in a country where the visa application is outsourced and available online. When validating your application, please check that your documents are legible and correctly integrated into the associated sections.

Please note, that in some countries, in the event of an erroneous digitization or no digitization at all, our service provider will intervene to rectify or digitize the documents during your appointment. You will be billed for this service, if it is included in the ancillary service charges. It is therefore advisable to check the amount of any such charges beforehand on the approved service provider's appointment booking site.

Beware of fraudulent sites

Visa applicants are advised to be cautious in all dealings with companies that claim to offer assistance in obtaining French visas.

The day of your appointment

Please note, the day of your appointment you must print and come with your receipt and CERFA in final paper version. It must not have the word "DRAFT". In case of absence of a document present on your receipt, your visa application can be refused.
